Please Note: Original equipment Jeep Wrangler Transmission Cooler Line Installation requires removal of the catalytic converters and exhaust. This LinesToGo Part has been redesigned to avoid this removal, making a difficult and time consuming job, a whole lot easier and faster. Labor savings is 1-2 hours.

Please Note: Vehicle Application determined to have two different types of Radiator Connections (Quick Connect or Barbed Style Fittings); both have been included in this set.

2003 4L Jeep TJ Transmission line set

"Pros: - Clever re-routing of line set makes installation significantly easier than buying an OE style set - Good quality hardware - Youtube video very helpful Cons: - Threaded connections that go to transmission have a longer unthreaded nose than the original line set, which seems to make starting the fitting more difficult than it should be. Thread engagement is also reduced, but probably not enough to be concerned about. - The lines were not bent in such a way that will allow you to connect the brackets as shown in the video. It was impossible to connect the bracket to the transmission housing as the lines were too far away to get the bolt engaged. I had to get a longer bolt and add a spacer to get the bracket aligned. Also, if you bend the bracket as shown in the video for the bracket that attaches to the oil pan, you also will not be able to get the lines and bracket attached. The best solution seams to be to attached the bracket and bend it to fit. If I didnt have to spend a large amount of time with the 2 items above, the install would have only taken an hour. Having to fuss with getting the fitting threads started and modifying the brackets added an additional 2 hours. Compared to what the time would be with OE lines, this is a win."
