Good product, reasonable prices. I

"Good product, reasonable prices. I was disappointed about 2 things. On the return line there is a union that connects the forward and rear sections of the lines. This union is not included with the lines and cannot be found anywhere in stores. I wish it was supplied, even if the price is a little higher. If yours is rusty, make sure you find this union before you start your project. The other issue I had was the steel braid sections. One of them was way too long. It was quite difficult to find a good way to use up the extra line as it is steel braid and it doesn't like to bend very much. I wound up forming an "s" curve that was tightly packed between the tank and the frame. ( Not easy to do ) I would feel a lot better about it if there wasn't so much side pressure on the line where it connects to the sending unit. The ports on the sending unit are plastic and was very nervous I was going to break that port off trying to get that line on. I had to route that section of line past the sending unit, then go back towards the engine, then go up to the sending unit. This is not ideal. If i had to guess, that line could be about 6-8 inches shorter. The configuration of the factory bends was right on and made life a lot easier. Just put in place, connect, tighten and go. I did not use some of the factory retaining clips when installed. Zip tied the lines to other lines and the frame. Much easier and faster. Overall a good product but the one steel braid line was a pain in the rear end. The other one was good. I was quoted $860.00 to have this done at the repair shop. No way in hell!! They even charged me $50.00 for the estimate. I will never set foot on that shop floor ever again. Money hungry leaches!!! This was on my daughters truck and we saved her $600.00 bucks for just a few hours of work. Thank you lines to go for supplying these lines. P.S. She learned every step of the process, and that's how it should be!!"
