Brake Line Location: Engine Bay to Rear Frame Connection

Fuel Line Location: Hose Connection at Engine to Hose Connection off Fuel Tank

The two rear brake lines in this kit are incomplete and need to be spliced on to the existing brake lines at the lower firewall.

1.) Place new brake lines next to original brake lines while still on the vehicle. Mark where the cut is to be made using a hand held tube cutter. Try and stagger both cuts to allow room for unions.       

2.) Use the two tube nuts supplied. They will be threaded into the ends of the bronze colored unions.

3.) Slide the tube nuts onto the original brake lines that you just cut, making sure the hex of the nut is facing up. Make a bubble flare for each brake line. Slide the tube nuts down to the flare and thread into the new unions of each brake line.

Please Note: Before installing your brake lines, there is a shipping bend in one section of each brake line that will need to be removed. The lines are labeled BL255B-06A and BL255B-05A. Both shipping bends are removed the same way. See the video below on how to remove the shipping bends.

Tube Construction: Lines are constructed from Galfan® coated steel tubing for rust protection with original equipment end forms and fittings and are CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) bent for an easy precise installation.

Hose Construction: All hoses are made from Stainless Steel Braided Teflon with OE style fittings
